Reflection

The past months have been a time of quiet discernment. It has been a blessed time of contemplative reflection. Where have I been, where am I, and where might I be going?
A luxury that often seems unavailable, but not if I take the precious time to ask. I have been supported by loving family and friends; here at home and in the Middle East, West Africa, and Central America. Their generosity these past weeks has been abundant, and I have learned much about waiting, patience, and staying awake. And, here we are together again, in the Season of Advent. Waiting for the coming of all that we love and adore. Let us prepare ourselves to receive the coming of Christmas. May I strip myself from all that keeps me from the Gift, that I may live my life from a place of abundance.
