Hydro Electricity
We visited Polotina, a town of about 30,000. One of our hosts showed us a folio of photographs of seven incredibly beautiful waterfalls that were destroyed when a large lake was built to supply the dam that now creates hydro electricity for the area. Reflecting on the lost natural treasure, our hosts said in unison, "It had to be! There was no other choice." That is the commonly shared commitment to sustainable clean energy. In August we will tour the energy plant and learn more about the plan for hydro electric cars that are expected to be in wide use in the next 12 to 15 years. Reconciliation with Creation.
