The Power of Imagination

I've expereienced the transformative power of imagination, particularly in recent years. I first thought about it in Turkey when traveling in the footsteps of S. Paul, and read his letters. What opened his world to possibility was his gift of imagination. The world around him was not changed, but he was transformed and facilitated transformation in others. I've witnessed that capacity and realization in others. Sometimes it is practical. I never imagined that I could fix my computer, or adjust the settings and confirguations. I've now been places where I had to imagine that I could--and I have. I think of my "geeky-ness" with pride. Others have done incredible tasks such as surgery and physical fetes because they believed that they could. The world becomes a better place, a dream at the time. I want to imagine justice, peace, and reconciliation with all Creation. That is a foundation for allowing transformation. To dream, to imagine, to wonder, and to be curious. Those are fetes in themselves.
