Prophetic Words

As I was leaving the office yesterday, +Naudal called to me and said, "I love what this Bishop says too much!" What Bishop, Bispo?", I asked. The Primate Katherine", he replied. He then related a story that Presiding Bishop Katherine told in her address to the General Convention in Anaheim, CA about a woman priest and her bishop father and how the father who had opposed the ordination of women changed his position and was asked by his daughter what happened, had he changed his mind. "No, I changed my heart." ++Katherine had gone on to imagine of a Church with a changed heart. "This is such a beautiful idea--that the Church could change not its mind, but its heart." He smiled, not able to contain his joy at the thought. I went to sleep smiling last night, imagining the world changing its heart, one heart beat at a time. I believe that too is possible.
