Jovens

On Sunday, I am talking with a group of young adults from the region about the MDG's. While Brasil is way out front in matters of the environment, most groups and organizations have been slow to embrace the MDG's or start programs of advocacy or development. We're going to have a brief overview of the eight goals, and then spend some time imagining a changed world. It will be very interesting to me to find out what 20/30 year olds here imagine being changed. We will also discuss the India Peace Pilgrimage that The Dioceses of California and Rochester are sponsoring in December 2010. It will include young adults from Brasil, Palestine, and South Africa.
