Vai com Deus
My time at Centro Cultural Missionario, a Roman Catholic institute in Brasilia, is coming to a close. These past three months have been a time rich with diversity, sometimes with challenge, and always inspiring. We came together from many points of view from throughout the world, all following the path of our individual journeys and meeting here to study and live together. Everyone shares the same faith tradition but me. All are Roman Catholic and all are either ordained priests, deacons or graduate seminarians. I am also the only resident student from the United States. My views religious and cultural are more inclusive than anyone in our community. Many hold views that I regard as exclusive. Our discussions have been very open and always respectful. Dialogue. We have learned from one another. I have brotherly affection for every participant, the work they have each done, and the work they are setting out to do. I am grateful for the challenges, and I am grateful that we came together for this time of work, challenge, and joy. Um abraco amigos and irmaos, amigas and irmas. Vai com Deus
