Vou Voltar Para Brasil

I have been in San Francisco for a visit, connecting ministries and raising awareness of our diocesan relationship, between the Diocese of California and the Diocese of Curitiba. I have been very encouraged by the interest expressed within and outside the Church, in building understanding and friendship between the peoples of Brazil and the United States. It has been
a long neglected relationship; between churches, countries and continents. This past year living in Brazil, I learned that there is great possibility for changing that and living into the millennium as the good neighbors that we are meant to be. I will return to Parana in a few weeks, also inspired and challenged by those I met and visited while here.
