Take Care of the Stranger
While I was fixing my coffee this morning there was a knock at the door. The woman introduced herself saying, "Good Morning, I am Mahnmahn Mulbah, I'm going to take care of the house". Still wearing khaki shorts, my St. George's Jerusalem t-shirt and flip flops, I invited her in and welcomed her. "I told Mommy last night that Mrs. Kolva (Human Resources Director) chose me to take care of the stranger, and I am so happy." I'm told that she is a very good housekeeper and good cook. She took command of the little bungalow immediately, starting with preparing my bowl of cream of wheat and toasting bread. Her smile is broad and contagious. "They told me to take very good care of the stranger." "Stranger" takes on new meaning to me, and I feel welcomed.
