+Naudal cooked lunch today at the Cathedral for Yolando, John Carlo (Counsel for the Diocese), Gregorio (a student who works in the afternoons here) and me. He cooked the barbequed ribs Saturday night at the welcoming party he and Carmen Regina gave for about forty guests. Gaucho cooking is the cooking of his regional home, the Patagonian grasslands of southwest Brasil, near the Uruguay border. With his good humor he calls himself an "urban gaucho" ("Urban Cowboy").
It was a great party!
