Esperanca (Hope)

Living in Brazil for seven months, I have gained a new understanding of "Hope". I see it now not a wish, rather a way of being. "Hope" opens one to all possibility that is good. "Hope" comes from a place of joy and gratitude and has no space for despair or fear. "A esperanca e' a ultima que morre." ("Hope is the last thing to die.") Living in the hope of all that has yet to happen, while dwelling in the present moment. May I live into the "Hope" of the New Year and be open to all the possibility of "Paz e' Bem".
